Mixcraft 4.5 was introduced to me by my friend Amaran who is a deejay preferred to me known as DJ Ca$hBeat$. He does his remixing of his songs using this programme and he taught me about it as well. The main thing he taught me was about Beat Counts and Tempo of a song. That goes to say, counting the number of beats in a song was very crucial.
Moving on, I met a Facilitator in Sound Design named Andrew Wong. I recently got to know that he was in fact the module chair person for the module of Sound Design. I approached him earlier during the period of July to ask him more about creating Music for games. It was then I introduced to me the software called Computer Music. He talked about the programme and also said that the software has a lot of free programmes and tracks given my Royalty Free tracks. Andrew Wong also added that the availability of the software is in the library of Republic Polytechnic itself in the form of DVDs and there are also guided magazines.
I did not waste much time in getting my hands on those DVDs. I came back home and installed the software and started to fiddle with it. I started to create my music tracks using the Royalty Free tracks given by the software itself. Below are my tracks which are created. I got feedback saying that there were no synchronization with beats and tempo. But I did not give up just there. I went to do research on how beat counts and tempo should be in music and according to the genres. I continued practicing and creating the music tracks and I have OVERCOME the fact of unsynchronised beat counts and tempo. Feel free to listen to the tracks below. 1st is titled "Play".
